 Diego Villanueva – Natomas High School, Class of 2026

At 6’2”, Diego Villanueva is one of the most slept-on guards in the Sac Joaquin Section. He spent his first two years at River City High before transferring to Natomas last season, and that move has put him in position to shine.

Diego can flat-out shoot it — “lights out” from deep — and he combines that with relentless effort on both ends of the floor. Coaches at Natomas are expecting him to play a major role as they look to make a deep playoff push this year. If he stays consistent, Diego’s senior campaign could be the one that finally earns him the recognition he’s deserved all along.
