  MLK recap Alarbesh’s game-winning triple caps off exciting slate at Coaches Corner MLK Dream Day Classic Monday showcased 16 teams from Northern California in the Coaches Corner Digest MLK Dream Day Basketball Classic at Christian Brothers High School. The event was capped off by a super competitive matchup between Inderkum and Oakland Tech with Bulldogs senior Saddiq Alarbesh hitting a three at the horn to win 68-66.  “We called a timeout and my coach drew up the play for me,” Alarbesh said. “I knew I needed to save my team and hit the shot. I didn’t have the best game, but I hit the shot and that’s all that matters.” Alarbesh was one of five Bulldogs in double figures along with Brandon Woodards, Noah Trammell, Jordan Price and Jasen Davis. The event brought together some of the region’s premier programs, delivering a full day of high-energy matchups that kept the gym buzzing from start to finish. Beyond the action on the court, the atmosphere was elevated by raffles, giveaways, and strong fan engagement, making it a true community celebration. The showcase continued to grow in both scale and impact, providing student-athletes with a big-stage environment while giving families and fans a memorable experience. Sports can be one of the most powerful tools for building discipline, confidence, and resilience—but only when the system surrounding them is fair.
