From early promise to Senior year Spotlight

Image
From the first time we saw Andre Gomez back in seventh grade, it was clear he was ahead of the curve. Year after year, he’s continued to prove himself as one of the premier players in Northern California. Now entering his senior season at Grant High School, nothing has changed—if anything, his game has elevated. At 6’5”, Gomez is a versatile lefty  combo guard with explosive athleticism and a relentless ability to finish around the rim. His size and length make him a matchup nightmare, and his confidence on both ends of the floor sets him apart. With his blend of skill, energy, and leadership, expect Gomez to continue to turn a lot of heads this season and solidify himself as one of Northern California’s top talents.

Scouting Report

Templeton Fontaine – Vanden High School Few players in Northern California have elevated their stock this summer like Templeton Fontaine. The Vanden guard has shown a complete skillset — knocking down perimeter jumpers, handling pressure with confidence, and finishing well above the rim. What separates Fontaine is his commitment on both ends. Offensively, he’s proven he can score at all three levels while also creating for teammates. Defensively, he embraces the challenge of locking up opposing guards, bringing consistent energy and toughness. With his blend of athleticism, IQ, and relentless work ethic, It's no wonder Fontaine projects as a Division I caliber guard, with the offers to prove it from Weber State, University of Montana and USF. His balance of scoring, playmaking, and defense positions him as one of the top emerging guards in Northern California heading into the upcoming season.
